I have an '06 Mountaineer with a 4.6L that just started leaking coolant. I found several small cracks on the upper side of the radiator tank (plastic/carbon fiber). I may try JB Weld, at least temporarily; might get lucky.
Before I go out and order a new one, does anyone know of any TSBs or recall notices? This engine has an electric fan clutch/speed control, that is different than most others; anyone have any experience getting this all out of the way in order to replace the radiator? This is the first problem I have had with the car since brand new. Any ideas/info appreciated.

Welcome to the largest 4th gen explorer/2nd gen sport trac club in the world. the "My plastic Explorer Radiator failed again Club". If you do a search there is a wonderful guide to replacing it. After the second time you do it, it almost becomes second nature. This same thread is started every second week as well.

Well I have tried to search, but haven't found any guides or tutorials, just more folks telling about their problems. Where can I find the guides?

FordTechMakuloco has a nice video on Youtube as well.

And welcome to the club.
