Crazy 5R55E transmission.

hello all ive got a problem with my 97 4x4 4.0 sohc explorer sport. sometimes i cannot crank it in park i have to shift to neutral to start. and when i take off i have to take off in 2 or 1 to reach 10mph after that i can shift to od and it shifts fine as long as i dont get below 10 mph and if i do i have to drop it in to 2 any response will be helpful

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions section. Adjust the shift cable, and see if it helps. You might want to check the alignment of the range sensor as well.
