I would first like to say Hello and that I just joined the community today. This site is going to be a fantastic aid in helping me learn my Explorer Sport. My problem is while sitting the temp gauge is WAY below COLD and even after driving for an hour or so it will only get 1/8th past COLD...even with the compressor engaged, which leads to my second problem. Last night I needed heat for the first time since buying my Sport last month. Nothing...it at best got lukewarm, and I also found out the A/C compressor is kicking in even when the switch is in VENT, BI-LEVEL, and even FLOOR which on any car I KNOW is not right. Can my problem be open thermostat for temp gauge / and bad climate control unit for the steadily engaging compressor??
