well it comes only in a big kit said rocky mountain. But from another post....

it was designed by a company called sdori they are based out of san diego, ca... they specialize in making hte spacers for both 4x4 and now 4x2 toyotas as i helped them design the 4x2 ones... they allow an extra 1.5" between the balljoint and the upper control arm... geometry slightly changes and i know have to correct camber issues, but i gained a little bit over an inch in ride height... also, with the ifs, i know can droop the tire another 1.5" lower than stock... anotehr advantage is that it allows the tire when compressed to have another 1.5" of clearance before hitting the body.....

check out www.sdori.com for info on what the spacers are/do

Isn't that basically what I am doing?

kinda, the BJ spacer bolts on to the upper arm though from what i can see in the pics and that extension they give you with the 4" lift bolts right onto that spindle.

yes that is a very easy observation but i think that BJ spacer looks to be a lot stronger than the spindle exension thing, my reason for that is once again leverage and that too much leverage would be put on that spindle extension and could break it. i had a 2" spacer between my new uppers and my procomp spindle and bent the pin that runs throuhg the two w/o even off roading, ill try to find some pics...

here is a pic of that spacer

here is a pic of the pin that went through the unball, spacer, and into the spindle assembly, it was bent because of the enormous amount of leverage that was being put on the pin because of the spacer, i had to have the guy make me a new arm that cycled properly withough having to use the spacer...

this is just my opinion, and i could be totally off, but im just going off of what i see...

I would think the Trailmaster spacer would work outfine. It looks to me your upper control arm is sagging alot. It looks like the spacer would return the control arm back to it's orgional location a give you for flexability aswell. I think your alignment will be alot better aswell, due to the fact that the upper control arm will not be maxed out so fast when you have alot of down travel.

hey im being quoted and i havent even responded to this thread... hehehe..... as iwas reading, i was like oh, that idea is kinda like my balljoint spacers...lol

Yeah I was SOOO bored I was reading a Toyota registry :p

I will get these spacers somehow!

Boomin, you can't put just the BJ spacer in, but the entire front lift should work. You need to drop your LCA's as well, and your steering to retain the stock 2wd spindles.

I know Superlift sells just the front equipment seperatley, possibly trailmaster will as well.

yeah well trailmaster sells it as a boxed kit also. I didn't ask for a price but I will be when my $$$ is back in a better situation

The spacer would work to drop the spindle, yes, but like you already pointed out, the change in camber with any type of bump would be tremendous!! Bump would cause a TON of negative camber, rebound would cause a ton of positive, not to mention what it would do to the steering geometry!!

I wouldn't recommend it without dropping the lower control arms too, and for that, you'd need the rest of the kit.
