What kind of bulb illuminates the bottons on the steering wheel? And how do I change them? Thanks

I need to know that too !! My left side is out ! I think the little holes with plastic covers on the side of the steering wheel need to be popped off and a bolt is under, then the buttons slide out and they might need to be replaced as a whole, but that is just from looking at it :D and I'm probably wrong. They just dont look like they come apart real easy, or bulbs that small can be removed and replaced.

The two screws are for airba removal. Once the air bag is out you can take of the sections. As far as getting into the bulbs...I have no idea.

Be sure to read all of the site Robb has referred to. I recently replaced both bulbs on my left and right CC switches. They can be purchased separately...don't buy a whole new switch! They're little tiny things and they mount to the printed circuit board under the CC switch cover. Be careful prying the rubberized cover off...proceed patiently or else you run the risk of breaking off the flimsy plastic clips that hold the circuit board to the switch housing.

Above all, disconnect your neg batt cable before pulling the airbag/horn module. Serious injury or death if the bag deploys while you're sitting behind the wheel fiddling around with the wheel bolts, etc.
