edit*** O.K I found a site where I downloaded the owners manual but I checked the fuse for the cruise control and it was fine. Anyone know what else I might check next? thanks

My cruise control don't seem to be working, was wanting to check the fuse but dont have the owners manual to know which fuse. If someone could tell me what number slot it is in the fuse box I would appreciate it.

P.S. I plan on getting the Owners manual online soon, just have a long highway trip coming up and want to have the cc working.

a major problem is the switches on the actual wheel...
i bought a set from a local junk yard,.. also do the lights on the wheel switches still light up..
thanks and good luck..

No, the lights on the wheel switches do not light up at all..

and thanks for the post, I may check into the switches soon

Guess the steeringwheel needs to be pulled to check the slidecontacts. If you have airbags let your garage or dealer do this.

then like i said before ... The switches are bad.. try a local junk yeard or buy some on ebay..

very simple to do.
let me know if i can help;

Switches are independent from illumination. The switches are lightened by a small lamp that can be replaced. Same as used on Audi and VW for dashboard / switch illum. But, could be that some of the contact are bad and the switches dont work.

You need to do some simple checks on the activation switch. Find the harness and use a multimeter to see if you get a switch closure when it is pressed. If not, then you have found your area of the problem. If yes, then you need to check for voltage at the connector.

there are numerous people who have had this problem and the bulb is replacable. although it is much easier to just replace the entire switch...

because the little bulb in there has to do with the witch not working once the bulb dies...

I will stop with this one but check out post # 2 in the fpollowing link. it is a very common problem with these years. and replace the switch and it will work for you. no need to further stress your self..
