Hi,
I've read a lot of the post on cruise control and I have almost the same problem with my 94 XLT 4WD as some of those posts discuss. At 65-80 miles per hour the speedometer starts to rise and fall 5-8 MPH without cruise engaged. When you engage cruise at, say 65, the vehicle accelerates and decelerates, trying to keep the speed at where it was engaged. When the speedometer is steady, so is the cruise speed. So it does not appear anything is wrong with the cruise system, only how it gets the info needed to maintain a constant speed. I don't want to start changing things until I've heard from a few of the more knowledgeable folks that myself. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Doug
