Cruise Control Issues

I know that I am resurrecting a very old thread but this helped me solve the problem. I tried all the suggestions that did not involve a ohmeter or any tests like that, and in the end it was the cruise control module that was the issue. I wouldn't have known what to do without this thread so many many thanks to you all.

I wish mine were that easy to fix.....my front seal on my A4DL went out wednesday
