I have a 98 explorer sport and the steering whell have cruise control settings on the steering wheel on/off buttons on the left and set accl ect. on the right. Well the left side light has gone out and i lifted up the rubber cover and there is a circuit board underneath but i would like to know how to fix the light i think its a led and that's not replacable.

Hey man, this exact topic has bee discussed several times.... It is possible to replace the lights, but you have to remove the airbag and buy a new cruise control switch. Do a SEARCH for "cruise control lights" and you will find exactly how to change the bulb out and whats involved, good luck;)

Mine has been out for 2 years now. I've learn to live with it. Doesn't bother me anymore. :)

Same here.... Live with it... it's just easier lol
