cruise control problem

well we r gonna take the yoke and flange off of the output shaft tomorrow and see if we can get the seal out so we can look at the gear. do you know how it is held onto the shaft?

I'm not real sure but i think it may just slip on.... like I said I never dealt with the transfer case besides changing the fluid.

well i think we figured it out. the flange nut was just loose enough that it was letting the gear slip. so now i dont have any needle bouncing or surging in my cruise control.
