My local dealer has told me that the fusible link fix for my cruise won't be in until late winter or early spring. Has anyone else found this to be true?

I don't think it will be covered by the recall unless the dealer replaces it. They provide the parts, and service on recalls. You could do the job yourself for about $20, so it depends if it's worth it for you to wait for the dealer to do it. Well I'm a cheap SOB so I will wait. I don't use this vehicle much on the highway anyway. Thanks for the responses.

That does not matter. The pressure switch is always hot. Unplug the connector to it until you can get the recall.

I've had mine disconnected since I got the recall. I was just wondering how long it was going to take Ford to come up with the $10.00 part to finally fix the problem.:dunno:
