I am considering putting cruise control in my 94 b4000, and am wondering what all is involved. I have working cruise control in my 94 explorer and would like to take everything from that if I can. I already looked into an aftermarket controller. The thing is I don't fully understand how it is controlled stock. Is everything inside the steering wheel? As best as I can see the steering wheel buttons have a few wires that connect under the dash with two plugs. Then the wires are routed where I can see. On the other end, the vacuum actuator has one group of wires going to one plug. I am perfectly capable of doing any wiring if possible, and would have to be splicing it to the brake and clutch petal switches anyway. So what exactly has to happen to make this work?
