Well I would go all out with more mods but since its only 2wd I didnt see the point. Ive looked into converting it 2 4wd but havent decided if it would be worth it or not. Follow the link and let me know what yall think. Yea its a little more on the audio side of the scale than the offroad but I try to find a happy median :) Latez

I believe that Fabtech makes a lift for you Explorer. Specificly 2WD You would get the look and Lift to go where most go. Cheaper and easier alternative than going to 4WD.

so that was you i heard the other night when i was sitting in the house here in north florida?

isnt 150 the level that breaks glass and shatters eardrums?

looks killer though, bet it sounds good.

Well...

Buchvilleman, Wont break glass but it will difinitely damage your ears if your not careful.. In competition your required to wear some sort of ear protection and in the upper level competitions you must stand outside the vehicle if it is above 140db or you will be disqualified. I keep the bass pretty low when just cruising for good SQ (sound quality). The SPL (sound pressure level) can be a pain when it keeps knocking your rear view mirror off the windshield and rattling crap loose so I just save that for the competitions. Plus in this town the $183 noise from a vehicle violations can add up and they arent shy to hand them out.

Alto, do you have a link for that kit? Im lazy what can I say... If not no worries.

I say lift it to the sky and keep working on your audio!!!
Looks good!!!!! A 2wd re-geared and locked up can play with the J**ps you know. Give them something to talk about!!!!

Just a thought though. Here in idaho in our audio competiton we can't be in the vehicle no matter the dbs it can do. Wow at that db you must got good seals on your rear quarter windows. I hit a 148.9 in a db drag and it blew the seals around the window. And guess what!!! They disqualified me for it too.

Keep the pics comin with the mods!!!!!!
