Custom bumper Rendering

I made up a ROUGH rendering in MS Paint of a front bumper I want built. In the morning im going to go to a welding shop see if they cant get some measurements and a price. I want it to fit the body real tight, you know like a Road Armor bumper. let me know what you think!

yea a shop down here told me they would weld it up for like $450.00 thats like 2,000 cheaper than Road Armor bumpers

Here it is... finished....

I couldn't figure how to bend the bars... so I just used straight bars..just for now..

Axial32, I really like the look of that bumper! Show pics as you build it if you are going to do it. Hummm........Now you have me really wanting to make one.

Make one.. I love it.. It's still not finished.. I haven't gota winch or fogs in it yet.. it'll get finished later on.

I am in the beginning of my bumpers/safari build. I can weld pretty well. But I have a friend that IS a welder, but very does little for vehicles. He as offered to help/lend my his shop. But he has equipment that I have never seen before, much less used. So he needs pictures and numbers.

Anyway, I love your bumper. Pretty close to what I envisioned for me. Mine is a first gen. I going to use a front receiver, so I will notch out the middle there and incorporate head light protectors too.

Did you happen to weigh it before you installed it? Just curious.

Well.. I'll look and see if I still have the renderings.. I made them on google sketchup.. so idk. A how to.. is basic cut and weld.. I had to modify some of the measurements that sketchup gave me anyways...
