Custom exaust

I just recieved a pacesetter cat back exaust for an mg from a friend, Im planning on putting it on my explorer, I mean its free. its has about 1.75 inch tubing, should i not use it and get an exaust with 2.25 tubing??

it'll sound like a lawnmower if you use a 1.75" exhaust, I promise it won't make you too happy with your decision. I'd recommend using 2.25-2.5" pipes, they sound pretty nice. Dynomax makes pretty inexpensive mufflers that sound good and there are a million places to order them online. you get the whole kit and it uses the factory hangers... around $150.
