I have a 2000 ranger which has a full time front end. After it is driven a ways at least 30 minutes the front CV joints make a cracking noise when I turn to either direction but only when it has been driven for a while. It seems to do it more in the summer when it is hotter out also. Has any one else had their CV joints do this? Is it normal, someone told me alot of toyotas with IFS do this also?
