Was still in 2WD while riding on a mild trail, nothing more than a muddy dirt road with several good-sized puddles. Went through two or three no problem, it's so much more fun in 2WD, kickin' the rear end all over the place.
Anyways I was coming up on one puddle pretty fast, from what I remember the puddle wasn't deep, but that was a while back. So I'm doing maybe 20mph, and I hit the puddle. The front end dropped WAY down and then shot right back up!
Ok, truck's in one piece, no water inside, we're good to go.
I headed the rest of the way down the trail, through one more puddle, and then got to my next "almost whoops". There were two deep ruts at the end of the trail, right before it goes out into a clearing, so I was straddling them on the left and middle ground. The truck was already leaning slighly to the right, so it was tricky straddling the ruts, and right when I got to the end, the right tires slipped into the left rut, which was pretty deep. This put the truck at a VERY steep angle, major pucker factor!
After realizing the truck wasn't moving, I slowly creeped forward (towards flatter ground) and made it out alright. WHOOOA boy that was fun!
Got to the clearing and got out to check out the truck, and I see the radiator guard thingy hanging from one side of the frame! Whoops! Didn't have anything to reattach it with, and I didnt have any sockets with me to take out the bolts on the other side, so I just ripped the thing the rest of the way off... oh well, time for a skid plate.
