My fan that blows ac/heater/air into the cab only works at random! Sometimes it just won't blow air, and other times, while the switch is on, it will just start working again. It's strange. Anyone experience something like this before? Any ideas on what it could be and how I could fix it?

Thanks,
Marc

mine did the same... try replacing the blower motor resistor, fixed mine right up.

hi there,

I had a similar problem, but it was just my heater, and i got it replaced accidentally with a 2000 model blower, now every time i drive more dan 80 km/hr or 50 miles/hr. it just blows hot, mild, or cold air depending on the temperature my ac/heater is set, now this is cool, cause im saving a lot of gas, and its done automatically for me, but then again, i have a 97, and a 97 is not suppose to do dat. well i guess dats wat you get for going to the dealership to get it fixed. The previouse owner had extended warranty so i had to use it up, but ended up payin for labour and a part they screwed up. Anyways, as i've sworn not to go to a dealership to get anything fixed, i think this time it was alright.

hope this helps, try changing the blower, dat could be the problem, or some of the wiring from the blower motor is intefering with the gages, check dat out too.

Thanks guys,

I'm going replace that blower motor resistor and see if that works...

Marc
