Dash Bezel Question

So I am not sure if this is even possible... but I was wondering if I could take the dash bezel (not sure if its even the right name for it... the thing in the middle of the dash) and replace it with one from a 04 eddie bauer explorer. the one that has the digital climate control panel instead of the knobs like my 04 has. Any ideas? and could I get message center in mine as well?

yeah thats what I was afraid of. My local wrecking yard has one thats in perfect condition for 15 bucks. I guess more research is in order!

i have both types, i will try to see if the connectors are the same and swap-able. if i had to guess, i bet they aren't.

There's more to the swap than just changing controls. In some other Fords the whole climate control system is different.
