Dash light by fan control

Just bought a 1996 2wd xlt explorer. Question--Is there a dash light by the fan control ? All my lights work but at night that area is not lit. Should there be a light there? I didnt want to take it apart if that was normal. Thanks ahead of time. Jeff

Yes sir, 2 194 style bulbs, shouldn't take more than 5 mins to replace, gotta pop the radio bezel off

Yeah, just take 2 screws out of the bezel and there are 4 screws that hold the HVAC control on and on the back side they just twist out.
