OK first of all I'm new here and a great forum for sure seen alot of stuff that helps...... so the problem I have with my explorer is that when I turn on the heater or a/c it will not blow any air on any setting and then after a couple days it will randomly start blowing but then again randomly stop blowing any help can't find nothing anywhere and don't want to take it to a mechanic low on funds thanks

on my colorado part of the reason i replaced it was there was a sensor
that controlled how long and often the compressor would kick deep inside
my dash.
it would freeze the heater core. this was on a/c and or heat/defrost
i would first check to see what you compressors doing also i keep
reading about a blend door problem not sure if its c/t your truck just my
2 cents

Ill check that out but I know its not freezing anything up cause it can be fine for like a week or 2 and then it goes out but well it started working thanks anyways

does air blow from any of the ducts at all? My '95 got stuck just blowing from the defrost vents no matter the settng. turned out to be a vacuum hose leak behind psgr side headlight.
