Dashboard lights are dim.

ON MY 2002 EXPLORER THE DASH LIGHTS FOR THE MILEAGE ARE VERY DULL. I WONT KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED TO REMOVE THE GAUGES.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. You probably have some burned out light bulbs. Standard tools should be fine. Please don't type is all capital letters because it usually indicates yelling.

Do the gauge needles come off with the gauge assembly?

Well that was fun. Took out the instrument cluster to find out there is NO bulb where the mileage/tripometer is. Put it all back together and now it works. I just dont get it.
