Hi,

The headlights, which usually come on automatically in daylight, no longer function. High & low beams work as they should at night. At the same time the backup lights, Overdrive and cruise control stopped working. A fuse was changed and everything then worked again but only for a short time. Then the shop decided to change out the "module" or controller which automatically turns on the lights in daylightlight, and replace the fuse. Everything worked fine for a short time and then, once again, nothing.

I would appreciate hearing how it was resolved if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it.

thanks

The running lights module should have nothing to do with the cruise control at all. Have you tried unplugging the module?

Hi,

Do you mean the module which was just replaced? Sorry, I don't know how many modules there are. The shop told me that they replaced a fuse and everything which was not working, cruise, overdrive, backup lights and daylight running lights then worked fine. Is there more than one fuse for these items?

Thanks, appreciate your help!

John
