Daytime running headlights stay on.

Hi,
The daytime high beams stay on after the ignition is turned off. I caught them on a security camera coming on about an hour after I parked. The consequences are obvious. The high beam indicator also is illuminated although the lamps are in the dimmed running mode. They remain on in running mode when the headlights are turned on. Any ideas? Is there a fuse I can pull to kill the high beams until I get it serviced?

go to ford and get a new DRL switch. you could try pulling the DRL module and be illegal for a while. its at the front left or right of the radiator. some wiring just rerminates into this block box about 1 * 1 * 2 inches long.
