daytime running lights bypass?

is there any way to bypass my daytime running lights, the modual is bad and i cant seem to find one at the moment, and I dont want to drive at night with the hi beams on..

I think you can just unplug the module and the headlights will still work normally.
 






Yes, there is a plug located between the front left wheel well and the bumper. Just unplug it, and tape it up and everything else will work normally.

Indeed, simply unplugging the module should eliminate the DRLs. Tape up the connector to prevent contamination, and it should be fine. :)
 






Ford dealer should have the module, almost bought one for about $80 but realized my Explorer doesn't have the connector for it...:fire:
 






I got a module the other day so my lights are working fine now, but I did try unpluging it and my headlights still wouldnt work
