Daytime Running Lights

I just bought a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer and am importing it into Canada. Does any one know if the daaytime running lights can be enabled from the factory computer or know how to do it?

Just had my out of province done last Friday at Canadain Tire . I taped the sensor on the top of the dash ( little egg shaped dome ) I removed the top dash piece and was able to put electrical tape inside the plastic dome so you can't see it . Then I set the headlight switch on auto and they were happy with that .

I believe you can enable the drl's at the dealership. They should be able to hook it up to the computer and turn it on for you.
