Hi guys!
Finally, my 92' XLT auto hubs gone dead.
I need to change them to a new, and much more reliables, manual hubs.
Somebody can tell me where can I get those parts at good price? (to online buy or in the Minneapolis Saint Paul area)
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Andy

I believe if you search around on this site, people have gotten pretty good deals on them. I just got mine at 4 Wheel Parts, cause I didn't think to search around. Oh well.

Here is a write-up if you want: http://www.4x4ord.com/html/Repairs.htm

Haven't had too much experience with that brand, I would guess it would be the same, you'd probably pay more for the name WARN if you got those, but I don't know about how good the warranties are either.

Ahhjaws:
Do you have Warn manual hubs in you Ex? Any problem with those? I read some threads (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16457) regarding serious damages in the front axle when Warn manual hubs suddenly fails.
I found Warn manual hubs in Internet and those are, in fact, less expensive than the Superwinch ones.

I have milemarker hubs and I got them at autozone for $140 and that included the conversion kit! It was the best deal I found anywhere. I did have to order them but I had them the next day!

My son works for Louisville 4x4 and can supply either the Warn or the Milemarker humbs and the kits. I checked his price on Milemarker's (I actually like the way they look better than the Warns - seem more solid) and they retail for $140 - plus the kit. He might even work out a better price if you talk nice to him and tell him his dad said to call. Their web site promises "local" price matching.

Louisville 4x4

Wish I could get them to you for my cost, but they have to run a business... :nono:

Thanks guys for the info.
I guess that Warn will be the choice. I never heard before about Milemarker or Superwinch hubs. However, I know Milemarker is an Army supplier, right?
glfredrick, thanks for the info about Louisville 4x4, but I found a better price in this link http://www.accessconnect.com/store/showdetl.cfm?&DID=16&Product_ID=293&CATID=33, with free shipping.
Anyway, I wish good sales for Jeremy.

Thanks again
Andy
