Has anyone used the amp bypass kit from crutchfield? If so how did you do it...? is it a simple plug/unplug setup? Please help!

I have one that I'm not using if you want it cheap... I ordered a wire kit from them but don't need the amp bypass part of the kit... I just needed the part from the factory wire harnes for the deck to the wire harness for my new deck...

Oh yeah, and as for ease of use... I wouldn't say so with this one... With this one you plut it in in the rear of the truck, and run the speaker wires ALL THE WAY back up to the front of the truck and into the new deck... Seems like a lot of work if you ask me...

yo Heath u live in Co so do I I qacually had to ride the buss thru littleton to highlands ranch to pick up my explorer after i bought it....... Im wondering do u know of any good install shops I've been jipped by car toys and wquality autosound so im looking for a good place

and krispy if i were you I would just buy like a 55x4 amp u can get one from us acoustics for like $80 They way u dont have to go thru all that and it would be easier to upgrade later if u wanted to I already got a 2 channel amp in the back waiting for me to get components

Yeah, do it yourself... I've had a decent experience with car toys on bowles in Littleton, but they are to expensive if you ask me... I have a friend that had an alarm put in by Quality, they totally screwed his truck up... So I wouldn't tell anyone to go to them...

When we put my stuff in I got a couple of friends and we did it... What do you need to do, maybe I can give you a hand...

Drop me an e-mail with your contact info and we'll get together, also is your truck a wheeler or street truck??? We're doing some wheeling on the 24th if you want to join...
