Man...I must be the only person in teh world that loves Sony car audio stuff (well mine at least). I've had 2 Sony headunits and both of them have been awesome and sound great and I just got a 10 disc CD/MP3 changer and it works flawless.... Oh well, I enjoy them! Sorry they suck everywhere else!

This is probably of no real use to many of you, but for those that notice stuff like this.....Have you noticed that 99% of Sonys CD head units only have a S/N ratio of 90db?? What the HELL is that all about?? I know of a Jensen H/U that has a higher S/N! Even Sony's $300 "ghettofabulous, batman, hide-a-face" unit the S/N is only 90 db. Guess they dont think.

I'm with you, I have a 10 disc changer that never skips, I got that ghetto fabulous batman MP3 player that sounds great to me, very clear, and all the features I need....plus...can't get it to skip yet, and one of those mono pentagon amps, and I am very happy with it all. Sony has never let me down yet.

I have an opinion on their home audio also ,
Their home audio is $h!t also.
I bought about 2 yrs ago a Sony vcr,dvd player and a surround sound reciever. Here is the problems that I have experienced with them.
DVD after a year and a half quit working
Reciever 2yrs will play for about 5 minutes then all you get is a high pitched buzzing sound from speakers then it quits working.
Now about the VCR when you hit the eject button it shoots the video tape half way across th e living room.
I will never buy sony again.
Also back in 93 I had a sony cd player in my ranger the Cd player also quit working a few years later.The only good think about that is Mickey Shore took it for a trade in and gave me $100 for it,I got a Kenwood with the flip down face.that was when they first came out.

Home audio stuff....no complaints on Sony stuff here either. Have a dobly digital reciever that has had no issues, I was first in line when the PS2 came out (yup...I'm a gaming dork), and have had a 61" Sony HDTV for over 3 years now and have not had a problem with it at all. Picture quality looks as good as the day I bought it, and have had not even had to charge/replace bulbs. No...I don't have stock in Sony, nor do I work for them, I have just been very happy with the quality of thier products.

I got an XPLOD headunit and its worked fine - I even took it out of my old car when I totalled it, and it still runs like the day I bought it. It can play CDs that my home stereo won't even accept into its slot. Sucks how u can't add AUX in tho
