Did I get the wrong temp sensor?

I went to the ford dealer and asked them for an overhead console temp sensor, they came up with one and I bought it. Part number: F87F-12A647-AA

Everywhere else (and at fordpartsnetwork.com) I see the temp sensor part number F87Z-12A647-AA

Also, when I plug my OHC into a 12v powersource, and attach the temp sensor, it constantly reads -10ºF, so mabey this means I got the wrong temp sensor? It looks like the normal OHC temp sensor, but its grey not brown.

OK turns out its the right sensor, its working now.

So temp sensor F87F-12A647-AA does work with my 99 OHC, incase anyone is wondering.
