When i fit the new pads over the disc they fit very tight and were a pain in the ass to slip on. Is this normal or does it mean that my back brake pads are dragging on the rotor? I drove it around and i dont think i felt any difference, let me know what you think, thanks!

definately means the pads a rubbing hard on the rotors. depending on how far you have driven it, it might not make too much difference. they will seat in. next time, squeeze the pistons back into the calipers, the pads will go on the rotor much easier and after you pump the brakes a few times, the pedal will firm up.
