I pulled out of my drive the last Sat and engine just died but then kicked back in? With all the rain Mo. got last weekend I just figure something was damp....Drove up the street and everything was fine. I was driving home today and it died in the fast lane. Pulled it off the rd.

Engine light and battery light were on.
Turned key off. waited a min. and tried to start again.
Seems to start for a second but when I release the key and give it gas it dies.
Tried this 2 or 3 times?
If this was an old Mopar I would compare it to a bad ballast resistor. I have a code reader but its cheap Chinese stuff and cant figure it out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

ok so wrong died again yesterday found a code says its the fuel pressure sensor on fuel rail but in changing I stripped the dam torx bolt back by the firewall wthwth did anyone think torx is a good idea for an engine bolt

I hated torx bolts, you could easily strip them if an incorrect size tool is used. They are mainly used by manufacturers because their machine/tools were designed to use during assembly. I have them everywhere on my bmw and I hate to work on one especially if they are rusted or old. Just like those quick connect hoses which are a PITA to disconnect (mainly to speed up assembly and sell an expensive parts... hose clamps will do!!)
