dies on hill climb..

was trying to get up my driveway and ended up having to back down tried it again couldn't make it let off the gas and it died... starrted back up fine and did it 3 times in a row(when i let off the gas) yes the tires where spinning... is this a normal thing with exploders? 97 4.0 SOHC

Possibilities: weak pump, clogged fuel filter, etc...

it doesn't sputter... it just shuts off like someone turned the key off.

Do the electricals go out too? Or are they still on but the engine just stops.

it shuts off to where the battery light and stuff comes on.. (like run mode on the ignition)


and as for my driveway............ (house is at the top of the hill....)

lol trust me you can't really see the other hairpin it sucksssssss in winter usually even when its plowed i have to put chains on lol.

Offroadjosh...don't you realize that this time of year, you park the cars and ride the sleds???? I remember my days in Idaho fondly. Shoot...I used to ride my snowmobile to school in high school.
