Ok, I tried searching, but I get everything from won't idle, to water in the engine. I'll try to be specific as possible. Heres what happened.

I was driving home on the express way at about 75 mph and then all of a sudden I lost power and engine began to sputter, pulled off into emegency lane and it died. As i was coasting I restarted and it ran fine, so I jumped back in traffic. Got about a mile down the road to my exit and it began to sputter again. So I pulled off and checked under the hood. Everything seemed fine, gauges looked fine. So I restarted and off again. And then it died about another mile. After about 2 more times of letting it die and restarting I made it home. And there is no CEL. Now I look at a night of working on my truck, dang, it's nice outside too.

So what should I look at?

I think I will check the fuel pressure first. Seems kinda odd that it happend all of a sudden though, my MPG have been good. I guess I will try to pull some engine codes too, but the CEL is not on.

What about a clogged cat or something?

we were about 1500miles from home and our truck gave out.

Check the fuel pump for sure!

thats all the advice i can offer

either fuel filter, or some aspect of ur ignition...

don't forget fuel pump relay and associated wiring, engine ground, coil.

It was the filter.... at least it runs now

Didn't realize how much gas would come out. Now that I smell real good, I guess I'll wash up.

Now back to figuring out how to bleed that clutch. It appears my bleeder screw has been tampered with. There is no nipple to attach a hose.

Sorry I posted so quick without investigating, but I was bummed.
