I'm going to switch my rear diffy to synthetic oil on my '03 Sport which calls for 80w-90. All the store had in synthetic was 75w-90. Can a regular old solid rear with open differential tell any difference between 75w-90 and 80w-90? I can't see it making any difference.
Also I'm going to switch the transmission to synthetic fluid also. It's a manual trans. and calls for Mercon. But with it being a non-picky manual transmission Mercon V isn't going to hurt anything is it?
