Get some good fogs. You'll be able to use them on-road as long as they don't blind other drivers for better night and weather visibility.

A fog is a wide beam that points low to the ground and is designed to pierce through weather. Driving lights are longer range beams that are meant to supplement the headlights for higher speed, long range visibility. Driving lights should not be used in weather as they will decrease visibility as they bounce off water in the air.

You could also get some dual beam lamps with both fog and driving lamps in one housing.

i have fogs in my bumper, so i wasn't sure what to put on my safari bar. thanks. the ones on my bumper are the blue looking round ones from walmart. i put them in when i got my 2001 front bumper. they have lasted for a while now and look nice.

Well if you're happy with those get some good driving lights for country roads and offroad.
