Conversion Plug for wiring
I replaced my stock Ford premium sound HU today with a Kenwood MP-225. I thought there was going to be a problem with having to bypass the stock amp, etc...but I went to Walmart and found the mating connector I needed. It is a SCOSCHE FDK106. It has the power connector, as well as 3 different speaker connectors, depending on which one your vehicle needs. It took me about 30 mins to match up the wiring (which were all the same color btw), solder and heatshrink them, and install the HU in the Ex.
Sure is nice to have a CD player and be able to control the volume too! MY stock HU would no longer trun up and down. I was stuck with the default power on volume.
