I will be pulling a boat this summer and I want to know if I should rig up some kind of differential breather extension(I did a search and didn't find much of anything). Where is the existing breather? Is it necessary to make some kind of extension? Some of the boat docks are pretty crappy and require you to back in pretty far.

I am sure some of you hard core wheelers have rigged something up. How did you do it and what do you need to do it. Thanks for the info.

check out the axle. there is what appears to be a vacumn tube coming out of the top of the pumkin that is clipped to the frame. this is your breather. take it off and get 20 feet of tubing the same size from pepboys or the like and get one of those "crancase breathers" put it on the new hose in the engine compartment. then ziptie everything up out of harms way

Thanks for the help guys! That is exactly what I was looking for. Brian, the pictures are great.

Will have to do that this spring sometime.

actually i have to give my credit to brian. i rememered seeing his page but forgot where it was located. although i knew some of the stuff already i got the idea of the cranckase breathers and the 25 feet of hose from brian
