dimming lights

Pretty much as the title states. The headlights dim in sync of the motorif that makes sence. If you roll the window up or down its the same problem. Batt gauge jumps as well. Has a newer batt in it.

Any Ideas??

Battery cables need replacing and the alternator may need replacing to.

But I would start with battery cables.

might not be cables, buy a batt terminal cleaner, and clean the terminals, and battery posts.

since thats quick and easy, id do it first. then pull off the alternator and take it to napa, they will test it for free.

if the alt is bad, replace it, if not keep it.

after this, if it still happens, knowing you alt is good, and terminals are clean, then replace the cables.
