Please help me locate Where that dinging sound is coming from. My ignition key cylinder is malfunctioning and that dinging sound won't stop. It's the one that dings when you left you left your key in the ignition and the driverside door is open.
 






It's on the top side of the key core.
Put the key in, rotate to "run" and stick a wire in the hole under steering that allows for the cylinder to come out. In the picture below is the orange part (mine is black).

Got it out! Super easy to remove. No more ding ding ding for this guy. hahaha
