dirve line differences b/t 2 dr and 4 dr 1st gen.

hey guys i am making a 4x4 out of my 4x2 92 explorer i have found a 2 door 4x4 doner vehicle. what all parts are differnt b/t a 4 door and 2 dr 4x4. i was thinkig only the rear driveshaft but i dont know. thanks for your help

The driveshaft should be the only difference

yea but is the front the same and just the rear different? becasue i would think the front of the vehicle is the same?

The only major difference is that the rear driveshaft is longer, nothing else will affect swapping 4wd parts from a 4dr to a 2dr. You really think Ford is going to spend all that money retooling and redesigning suspension parts just because one is a 2dr and the other is a 4dr?
