Disc Brake Upgrades

I have to replace the braking system in the front of my explorer and i was wondering if any company makes a performance braking system or any type of upgrade to fit a larger pad on it.

There is a company in CA called Applied Rotor Technology, I think thats their name, that makes cross drilled rotors. I think there is a group purchase going for them right now.

That brake system is expensive but some say its worth it.
