My ABS system seems to be malfunctioning.. How do I disable the ABS to verify that is in fact the issue and not something else? If an anti-lock system is just to help people who dont know how to brake properly is there any harm in leaving it disengaged?

Does your X have 4 wheel ABS? If so you can not bypass it like you can on the rear wheel only. To disable the ABS for testing all you have to do is unplug the wireing harness at the ABS valve.

Nope its just the ol 2wd.. unfortunately.. but anyways thanks for the advice im fixing to go take a look. Ill keep the thread updated in case it helps anyone else out sometime.
