Hello Guys, So yesterday i got back my ST, ill take some pics so the you can see the grey trims painted in black, it looks nice!

now since i cleaned up the ST under with pressure machine, there was starting a non pleasing sound, so I changed upper and lower ball joints and the bushings for the arms, so those were common places but the sound its sound like metal parts want to tear of and sound really bad. could it be the C.V so it might lose the grease..

Thanks for your feedback.:thumbdwn:

bearings? does it make the noise while the wheels are moving or when you hit a bump or something?

You said you had a 4x2 so you dont have CVs.

Only when am moving, now i sit down to the passenger sit a coworker that he know a lill bit about mechanic, so the sound was down on the floor from that side, he went down to see and the bushing that was suppose to be there that runs like 6 of them down there on the sides was completely lost no signs that there was a bushing, coult it be?

I dont know if express my self clear enough...

mine has done this aswell started a week after I bought it, prob 50% of the time if I am doing a low speed turn, ie outof the driveway or in a parking lot and on mine only when turning left there will be a metallic grinding, not sure what the problem is,Im thinking maybe whee bearing as ive got a vibration aswell ,anything between 80-90km vibrates then starts again 110 and up

Well mine does do that metallic grinding to, I changed all the joints on suspension, and got no news about whats the problem, i got scared and slow down every time I do a turn, now when i hit a hole or the street bump to to get to my house it makes the sound so it not only when a turn. Its driving me crazy, also that makes a loud noise that every one can heard..

sure? I ask my dad today he says it might be the rack and pinion as my ST is 4x2

So, I was on Saturday with a Ford mechanic who do Explorers and he said it was the bed bushings, so I have the 4 that seats under the cabin area, pulverized and making that awful sound, I called one Ford Dealer and asked for 312$ for that set, you guys know were to find that?
