I'm wondering if my X has a knock sensor that will retard timing if it detects the saw tooth waveform that tries its best to kill Mr head gasket or Mr piston. If so I'd like to run 93 octane, otherwise I'll just run whatever doesn't cause detonation. Thanks in advance.
