Do All Explorers Have These ?

Are the extra set of "mini shocks" on my Explorer for towing or to stabilize the rear axle from wheel hop or something of that nature.

What "mini shocks" are you talking about? Are you reffering to the little shock on the rear axle?

Yes..that is the shock I was talking about..I haven't been under there to look in a while.. so I forgot there was only one until I saw the pic. I was thanking X-Factor for the sugestion of doing a search on "5th shock".
