mixing sub sizes is probably giving you some cancellation problems. Youd be better off building a ported box for the 2 15s and running only those.

hmm could i buy another sub and jump it to the source for the 12s? i would make the box but i aint that big on cuting wood ill stick with electronics maybe ill ask my sound place about a new custom box :D i plan to put 6 15's same subs i got to the back and 6 to the front with a custom fit box acording to my calculation they should fit in  not shure if it would be better to buy afew subs or one big sub to power it any ideas?

if you fire 1/2 of the subs back and 1/2 of em forwards you are putting them 180 degrees out of phase with each other. That will probably also cause quite a bit of cancellation. Explorers have a HUGE cabin gain. If you put 2 or 4 of those 15s in a properly designed ported enclosure and put a decent amp on them you would be amazed at the amount of output there is.

Do yourself a favor, research the stuff you install, this is coming from a electrical engineer. You should have had someone else do the installation at a reputable shop.

impendance its the resistance or ohms on the speakers, the way you have the speakers plugged will eventually kill ur amp.
