Do i need new gears for 30's??????

im thinkin of just doin a 2 inch skyjacker lift....with 15x8's........and i think im just going to put some 30"BFG's on there.......should i get new gears for them?????????

what are your stock gears?? i really doubt you will need new gears with only a 30" tire, i can tell you this though, they will look small

Go with 31's with that 2" lift. If im not mistaken 30's are just a hair bit bigger than stock. You will need 31's to fill it up and make it look good.

Oh, and either way you wont need different gears to run either tire. If you have 3:27's right now it will still work but anything lower would be better.

i have 3.27's in my rig. i ride 31x10.50's. i have no problems getting up and going when i need to.

dont go putting 30's under a lift. its a waste of money. get 31's or 32's

Im running 30s on 15x7s right now on my 94XLT with 3.27's autotranny with no problems.
