I just Bought my plugs and wires For my 97 XLT SOHC 4.0... I dont really trust People working on my truck...So i figured I do the job myself.... But the Passenger Side Plugs especially Cylinder 6... is right under my AC unit...and wires run in back of the upper manifold...seems kinda hard to do...any tips guides run throughs? Also Does this Thing need a Cap and Rotor, Auto Zone Said they are not available... thanks

Remove the wheel well liners and get some wobbly extensions (not sure of the exact name.. the kinds that don't stick straight out when attached; they can be moved all around a few degrees).
 






yes what he said.... also there is no cap and rotor its a distributorless ignition system
 












Add a body lift and never bust a knuckle again ;)

LOL. Yet another good reason to make the step up harder. I truly admire those guys who do that lift thing.... yet... plug changes hadn't crossed my mind as one of em. One more reason for me to think about why my Soccer Mom ex needs a lift <g>. Thanks for the tease though. There ARE days I think other people are luckier than me. Good show.
