In something not shiney? I want the look of these trim pieces on the fender, but not in chromew or shiney steel. Even if it were abs plastic, in black...poaintable even.

ANyone ever find any or see some?

I painted my shiny silver bumpers with a flat black self-etching primer. Looks way better and has held up so far in the rain/snow. Just scuff up the shiny metal before painting.

The 2 door Sport models have black ABS plastic fender flares/trim. You can probably get some dirt cheap from anyone parting out their 2 door in the for sale section.

Theres quite a bit of cutting involved to make the rears fit - I'd rather those trust me. But I'm wanting a clean crisp look - and I'm afraid I might bugger up the rears.

Well, if you wanted a pre-cut made for a 4-door, you could see about getting an inexpensive set of the trim pieces and painting them yourself, or try and find a manufacturer that offers them in black or black chrome. Bushwacker sells low profile street flares that are paintable, too.

I made the (rear) 2-door flares fit my 4 door. I painted the rear bumber. The fronts didn't require any trimming, bolt right on.

Bushwacker don't list 91-94 Explorers on their webpage.

Pugsy, I seen what you did with yours, good job too.
